Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

The short version: Your personal data stays on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share your personal information. Period.

1. Who We Are

YourWillPro is an Australian estate organisation platform operated by YourWillPro Pty Ltd (ABN pending). Our products include the Estate Vault, the Estate Check, and related educational tools available at yourwillpro.com.au.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

The Estate Vault is designed with a strict on-device-only architecture. This means:

  • All vault data is stored exclusively on your device using AES-256 encryption
  • No vault data is transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party
  • We cannot access, view, recover, or retrieve your vault data under any circumstances
  • No personal names, addresses, financial details, or documents leave your device
  • We do not use cookies to track individual users within the vault

If you delete the vault data from your device or clear your browser storage, that data is gone permanently. We have no backup because we never had your data in the first place.

3. Aggregate Data We May Collect

To improve our products and understand general usage patterns, we may collect anonymous, non-personally-identifiable aggregate data. This includes information such as:

  • General demographic breakdowns (e.g. number of male vs female users, single vs couples)
  • Which features are used most frequently
  • General geographic regions (country/state level, not precise location)
  • Device type and browser category (e.g. mobile vs desktop)
  • Completion rates for the Estate Check questionnaire

This aggregate data cannot be used to identify any individual user. It is collected solely to help us improve the platform and understand the needs of Australian families.

4. Estate Check Questionnaire

When you complete the Estate Check, your answers are processed locally in your browser to generate your personalised results and report.

If you choose to provide your name and email address to receive your report, we store your name, email, and a small number of general responses from your check — such as whether you have a will, power of attorney, or superannuation nomination. This allows us to send you relevant follow-up information tailored to your situation.

We do not store your full answers, detailed scores, or any financial information. We do not sell, share, or provide this data to any third party. You can request deletion of your contact record at any time by emailing contactus@yourwillpro.com.au.

5. On-Device Encryption

The Estate Vault uses AES-256 encryption — the same standard used by banks and government agencies worldwide. Your encryption key is derived from your chosen password and never leaves your device. We do not have access to your password or encryption key. This means:

  • Only you (and anyone you share your password with) can access your vault
  • If you forget your password, we cannot recover your data
  • No YourWillPro employee, contractor, or system can decrypt your vault

6. Third-Party Services

Our website may use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to collect aggregate, non-personal usage data. These services operate under their own privacy policies. We configure these services to anonymise IP addresses where possible and to avoid collecting personally identifiable information.

We do not sell, rent, or share any data — personal or aggregate — with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Children's Privacy

YourWillPro is designed for adults managing their estate planning. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided information through our platform, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

8. Your Rights

Because we do not hold your personal data on our servers, most traditional data rights (access, correction, deletion) are already satisfied by design — your data is on your device and under your control at all times.

For any data you have provided to us directly (such as an email address), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of that data at any time by contacting us at contactus@yourwillpro.com.au.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
